"Fourteen batteries thundered at once on the most accessible places; ... one of these ... was mounted with one hundred and thirty guns, or ... discharged one hundred and thirty bullets."
— Edward Gibbon, History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire
A harbinger of modern warfare, the Ocak Cannon is an upgrade of a normal Culverin, available only to the Turks. An Ocak Cannon has better performance with respect to other Culverin pieces - it is cheaper, produced faster, and also has a slight fire rate advantage, meaning that it is the best field gun in the game. Although it possesses no minimum range, the Ocak Cannon however can be easily taken out with melee cavalry.
- Light gunpowder artillery unit; cheaper, faster to produce and with batter rate of fire than Culverin.
- As light-moving artillery, Ocak Cannon are highly effective against archers and massed infantry.
- Ocak Cannon however are vulnerable against point-blank attacks, so watch out for enemy cavalry and keep them well-defended at all times.
