The Danish kingdom of 1350 is in one of the least enviable positions: you only have control of Norway and Sjaelland and your capital in Jutland, while the rest of the Norse lands have rebelled once more. However, your realm isn't the only one having disturbances — the whole of Germany is best described as a complete mess, waiting to be divided up by the Venetians, Poles, the Habsburgs and possibly the Burgundians and the French.
The biggest threats to your existence would well be Poland, Russia, as well as the Habsburgs, who have holdings anda associates all over Europe. The divisiveness of Habsburg domains, however, means that you will have an opportunity at taking Germany piecemeal if required. However, the near lack of funds in your coffers means that diplomacy is nearly close to impossible. Fortunately by turn 2, you will be approached by the Teutonic Knights who will ask to purchase Kurzeme for a princely sum of 100 tribute. If you can do this, then you may stand a chance at regaining more territory.
To the north, however, there are bigger threats. Scandinavia, while not the most valuable part of the Norse ancestral lands, is of vital importance to your cause. Placing all the Nordic lands under a single ruler will do wonders to your legitimacy, although it will be said that the Scandinavians do not always enjoy being ruled by a king who is too distant from them, so expect them to frequently rebel against you. If left to their own devices, the Russians of Novgorod may collect their men together to invade this part of northern Europe - deter them at all costs. Moreover, there are rumours of lands in the far seas west beyond Iceland....
